Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler
By 1978, Evangelist/Historian and founder of Mantle Ministries, Richard "Little Bear" Wheeler, recognized the Lord Jesus Christ's mighty hand in guiding his life for the purpose of leading his family into full-time ministry. Under the Lord's inspiration, Richard Wheeler began to integrate his biblical seminary studies, Christian conviction, and theatrical training to reach our nation with a riveting message to alert, equip, and commission the saints in their God-ordained responsibilities as believers. As the mantle of ministry was passed from Elijah to Elisha, the purpose of Mantle Ministries is that of passing a mantle of America's Christian heritage from one generation to another, thereby preserving a Godly legacy and Christ-honoring standard given to us by our Founding Fathers.

Hunter and Tammy McKeever
We began homeschooling 23 years ago when we had just three daughters, and in 1989 were blessed with our son who will graduate from high school at home this June. Being able to educate our children at home has been such a blessing (most days!) that we feel strongly that we would like to stay involved; hopefully being a source of encouragement and assistance to others answering this call from the Lord. Serving in some capacity in the homeschool community was something which seemed natural to do almost from the very beginning. We started out as members of the support group planning committee/board in Humboldt County approximately 20 years ago, then after moving to Sonoma County served as part of the support group board here as well. As Sonoma County has shifted to a more of an ISP focus Tammy has worked with several of the local groups in leadership as well as teaching a variety of classes for home-educated students. For the past 6 years or so we have been the administrators of a local ISP and prior to this year Tammy has enjoyed being a discussion leader in Bible Study Fellowship and hopes to do so again following her son's graduation.
